Our adventure began in 2009 in Saint-Ignace-de-Stanbridge, when we purchased, with my father Yvon Laroche, an abandoned farm. This project, which seemed ambitious at the time, quickly became a true family passion.
Over the years, we have become a multifaceted farming family: producers of organic asparagus, blueberries and field crops, pork farmers, maple syrup producers, authorized maple syrup buyers, and specialized processors. Let's just say we are never idle!
From the outset, our mission has been to pass on our passion for agriculture to our four children: Michael, Manuel, Lydia, and Loucas Cantin. Today, I believe I can proudly say that this goal has been fully achieved.
Among all our productions, maple has always held a special place in my heart. A true emblem of Quebec and Canada, maple represents for me one of the most beautiful professions in the world. It is a unique, authentic product deeply rooted in our culture.
That's why our mission at L'Érable au Fil du Temps is simple: to showcase maple products throughout the year. Because maple is good in every season!
With this in mind, we have developed several maple-based products. Among them, our flagship product: Maple Time, delicious mini-cones designed to be enjoyed on any occasion.
Maple Time are small cones filled with 100% pure maple butter and coated in 54% dark chocolate. We offer them in various Quebec-inspired flavors: blueberry, raspberry, cranberry, and pumpkin.
We created Maple Time for two reasons:
- To make maple accessible all year round.
- To offer a moment of happiness and nostalgia. A bite of Maple Time is an authentic taste of Quebec that brings back cherished memories.
Today, our Maple Time are available in most convenience stores, grocery stores, natural food markets, and pharmacies in Quebec. We have also started exporting our products internationally. This is our way of sharing the flavors of Quebec maple with the world.
We are constantly developing to improve our products and grow our brand. Although this adventure is primarily a family story, it also relies on an exceptional team. Without their dedication and hard work, none of this would be possible.
